Bruce Klein
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Klein is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. One thing's for sure, Bruce Klein is a dead-pull hitter.
Baserunning & Defense Klein isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Bruce's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
