Randy Kohlenberg
Catcher | Lethbridge Typhoon
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Kohlenberg was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. Kohlenberg is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
