Hitting
He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Laumaster doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.

2025 Outlook
The Cold Lake Mud Cats were smart, they locked Laumaster up to a long term contract. Laumaster has impressed at the A-ball level. Look for the Cold Lake Mud Cats to give him a shot in Double or Triple A before the year is up.
