Pitching
His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Lemon also has a decent changeup. The Toronto Polar Bears hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.
Defense & Hitting
He never has controlled the running game. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Lemon is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Lemon has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Toronto Polar Bears have been known to use Lemon as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2025 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Toronto Polar Bears were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. Lemon has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Toronto Polar Bears will give him his walking papers before the end of the season. I just don't know if The Toronto Polar Bears are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
