Andrew Lizotte
Left Fielder | Guelph Storm
Hitting Lizotte is an excellent mistake hitter who belts middle-of-the-plate fastballs or hanging breaking balls. In past seasons, Lizotte has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Guelph Storm do tend to sit Lizotte when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. He rarely pulls pitches, preferring to shoot line drives to left-center.
Baserunning & Defense His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Lizotte isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
2025 Outlook In one full big league season, Lizotte already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
