He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.
Baserunning & Defense
Lutton doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Lutton you're not putting him in for his glove. Chris's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
2025 Outlook
The Free Agents signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Lutton like a hot potato if something better comes along. It's really a shame he hasn't caught on somewhere. He might be a decent addition to someone's bench.
