Rube Lynch   Shortstop | Free Agents Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Lynch always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Lynch isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Lynch to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.           -- Moostard Nyman
