Scott Maider
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. With his slap-hitting approach, Maider always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Scott Maider to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He might not deliver for you at the plate, but Maider can certainly deliver in the field. He is an exceptional fielder. His arm is accurate enough. Maider is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2025 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Maider to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
