Cedric McPharlin   Center Fielder | Free Agents Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Free Agents do tend to sit McPharlin when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense McPharlin isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm strength is well above average and runners rarely try to take liberties against him. McPharlin isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed McPharlin to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.           -- Moostard Nyman
