Nixey Mrozinski
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. Mrozinski never has been a patient hitter. Mrozinski always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.
Baserunning & Defense Mrozinski isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Mrozinski doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
2025 Outlook Mrozinski has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
