Adam Munro
Second Baseman | Sask Yellow Jackets
Hitting The book on Munro is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. He uses the entire field and has gap power.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Munro doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.
