The book on Neizer is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Neizer always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Neizer isn't a fluid shortstop, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Neizer isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. 2025 Outlook Neizer flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
