Sukenobu Nohnin   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Steals sometimes unnerve Nohnin, who isn't blessed with extraordinary self-confidence. If you're going in to face Nohnin, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Nohnin, and that's saying a lot. But Nohnin, do us a favor. Stop throwing that changeup. It looks like a beachball. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders. Defense & Hitting His move to first base continues to be erratic, resulting in poor throws at times. He's slow to get off the mound to field his position, especially to the third-base side. Nohnin is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Nohnin has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Nohnin as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook Nohnin was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Nohnin? But if you ask me, I'll pass on Nohnin.           -- Moostard Nyman
