Salvador Oteyza   Catcher | Vancouver Orcas Hitting In past seasons, Oteyza has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Oteyza is an above-average runner, but lacks the first-step explosiveness needed to become a basestealing threat. When you play Oteyza you're not putting him in for his glove.
