Burton Pennycuff   Center Fielder | Free Agents Hitting One of the nice things about Burton is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Pennycuff doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Pennycuff to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.           -- Moostard Nyman
