Hitting
One of the nice things about Holmes is that he's a real clutch hitter. If it's late in the game, and there are men on base, you want this guy at the plate. Plessinger never has been a patient hitter. Plessinger always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Plessinger isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Plessinger you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2025 Outlook
Plessinger isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Holmes to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
