Andres Reynolds   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of Reynolds's strongest assets is his performance with men in scoring position. Andres Reynoldsis Mr. Clutch. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Reynolds always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Reynolds isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Reynolds is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. 2025 Outlook Reynolds isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors.
