Paul Richmond
Starting Pitcher | Val d'Or Sharks
Pitching Richmond can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. He has an above-average changeup and the ability to throw from a variety of arm angles. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. It's hard to explain but Paul Richmond plays much better on the road then he does at home.
Defense & Hitting Richmond seems distracted after his delivery. He's sometimes out of position, fails to cover a base or doesn't back up throws. Richmond does a very poor job of holding baserunners because of his deliberate move to home plate. Richmond is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Richmond has some pop in his swing.
