Chuck Rogovin   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Rogovin also throws a screwball. Let's just say he's screwy on the field and off... so watch out for that devastating screwball! He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. Never a hard thrower, Rogovin now has games when he can't hit 85 MPH with his fastball. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting A decent fielder, Rogovin is quick around the mound and has good instincts. Rogovin does an average job of holding runners. Rogovin is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Rogovin has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Rogovin as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook Rogovin has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
