Coleburn Rustin
Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting In past seasons, Rustin has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Rustin is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Rustin when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense Rustin isn't a fluid right fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.
2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Coleburn Rustin is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
