Baserunning & Defense
Rute isn't a fluid left fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Rute isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2025 Outlook
In one full big league season, Rute already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
