Pitching
Sanford can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. His fastball is just average, and therefore he relies heavily on placing it in different parts of the strike zone. Sanford also has a decent changeup. His pitches lose some movement when he pitches from the stretch position. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
He fields both bunts and slow groundballs in front of the plate equally well. He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Sanford is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Sanford has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Cobourg Stampeders have been known to use Sanford as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2025 Outlook
The Cobourg Stampeders were smart, they locked Sanford up to a long term contract. Sanford has impressed at the A-ball level. Look for the Cobourg Stampeders to give him a shot in Double or Triple A before the year is up. I really like what this guy brings to the table.
