Rudolf Scholes   Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Scholes has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Scholes always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Scholes doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Scholes you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. 2025 Outlook Scholes was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year.
