Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Schooner always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Schooner when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense
Schooner isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Benn's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Schooner isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
2025 Outlook
Schooner has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
