Marino Selva   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of the nice things about Marino is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Selva isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Selva you're not putting him in for his glove. Marino's arm leaves a little to be a desired. 2025 Outlook Selva flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
