The book on Siford is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Siford always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Salvatore's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Siford isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. 2025 Outlook Siford was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year.
