Richard Sties
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Sties is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. But Richard's detracters are quick to call attention to his ongoing struggles at the plate with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Richard Sties to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense Sties isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Sties is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
2025 Outlook Sties was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Sties?
