Mike Stretch   Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on Stretch is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Stretch always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet.
