Chad Suggs   Relief Pitcher | Moose Jaw Dragons Pitching His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Suggs also has a decent changeup. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders. Defense & Hitting Runners do not get a good jump on Suggs... many have noted that his motion is difficult to pick up. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Suggs is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Suggs has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Moose Jaw Dragons have been known to use Suggs as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook The Moose Jaw Dragons signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Suggs like a hot potato if something better comes along.           -- Ska Nyman, A-Ball Scout
