Andrew Tyng
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Tyng doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. Minor league scouts have accused Tyng of being a liability in the field. Andrew's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
