Dallas Weech   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Though Weech can't just blow the ball by hitters, he has some giddyup on his fastball. Sometimes I wish he'd just give up on throwing the changeup, it's like a BP ball! If you're going in to face Weech, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. Never a hard thrower, Weech now has games when he can't hit 85 MPH with his fastball. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders. Defense & Hitting Weech is nothing special in the field. His windup, though, makes him an easy target to run on. Weech is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Weech has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Weech as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Dallas Weech is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors. But if you ask me, I'll pass on Weech.           -- Emu Nyman, AA/AAA Scout
