Pitching
Wiezen also throws a screwball. Let's just say he's screwy on the field and off... so watch out for that devastating screwball! A groundball pitcher, Wiezen needs to have sharp command to succeed. Wiezen can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Wiezen also has a decent changeup. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Wiezen fields his position well. He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Wiezen is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Wiezen has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Wiezen as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2025 Outlook
Wiezen has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
