Polly Wildsmith   Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Wildsmith never has been a patient hitter. Wildsmith always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Wildsmith doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Wildsmith you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough. 2025 Outlook Wildsmith flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
