Landon Yde
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Yde hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Yde when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense When you play Yde you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.
