Kevin Zordel   Relief Pitcher | Free Agents Pitching He's a pretty good ground-ball pitcher, which I like because ground balls stay in the park. Zordel also has a decent changeup. If you're going in to face Zordel, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. Zordel has no endurance. He's good for an inning an outing, tops. The running movement on his pitches makes life tougher on lefties than righties. Defense & Hitting Zordel has a lousy move to first, and opposing managers will run against him all day. Zordel comes off the mound hard toward the third base side on his delivery, making it difficult for him to field balls to the right side or to cover first base on a close play. Zordel is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Zordel has some pop in his swing. 2025 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Zordel to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
