The Regina Pirates went 2-1 on the week. ... Second baseman Humberto Suarez whiffed four times. ... Center fielder Don Lorentz wasn't allowed to hit too much. He was walked intentionally two times this week. Insiders are expecting the team to juggle the lineup and give Lorentz more protection.

STRENGTHS / WEAKNESSES

Strengths: Regina has an excellent catcher in Kevin Biesh. They have a solid bullpen, with no discernable weakspots.
Weaknesses: Management would like to find someone to play first baseman for them. They need one quality outfielder. Quite frankly, the Pirates don't have any true long relievers, SP4 or a fifth starter, so one has to imagine that's high on their wishlist.
