Carnel Ahrenstorff   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Ahrenstorff has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Ahrenstorff is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Carnel Ahrenstorff to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. Baserunning & Defense Ahrenstorff isn't a fluid catcher, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Ahrenstorff doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook Ahrenstorff flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
