Babyboy Amenta
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Amenta hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Babyboy Amenta to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Minor league scouts have accused Amenta of being a liability in the field. Babyboy's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
