Dmarco Bacon
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting In past seasons, Bacon has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Dmarco Bacon to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense Bacon doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. Minor league scouts have accused Bacon of being a liability in the field. Dmarco's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
2025 Outlook Bacon was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Bacon?
