Vic Baker   Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Baker has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. He's a straight pull hitter whose power extends from the leftfield gap to the line. Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.
