Mort Hughson  
Starting Pitcher | West Bay Red Skulls

Pitching
He keeps the ball down and gets a lot of groundballs. Hughson can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Hughson also throws a screwball. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
He has a very good move to first base and is solid at controlling the running game. Hughson is nothing special in the field. Hughson is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Hughson has some pop in his swing.

2025 Outlook
Hughson performance in AAA is making it difficult for the West Bay Red Skulls to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list. I really like what this guy brings to the table.
