Linc Chisley
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Pitching He struggles with his command at times and is still learning to mix his pitches and set up hitters. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. Bad knuckle-balls mean lots of runs. I know it's a hook to keep his arsenal fresh, but come on.. Linc, time to let this pitch go. He traditionally fares better against lefties.
Defense & Hitting His pickoff move is only fair. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Chisley is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Chisley has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Chisley as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2025 Outlook If Chisley doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
