Dory Chung
Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Chung is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Chung hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Don't be surprised if The Retired or Inactive Players's manager sits Chung when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw.
Baserunning & Defense He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Dory's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Dory Chung is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
