Wesley Crosman
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One of Crosman's strongest assets is his performance with men in scoring position. Wesley Crosmanis Mr. Clutch. The book on Crosman is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Crosman hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Don't be surprised if The Retired or Inactive Players's manager sits Crosman when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw.
Baserunning & Defense He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.
