Suade Doede
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Doede is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Doede when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense Doede doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. Doede doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
