Mark Drotz
Second Baseman | Guelph Storm
Hitting Drotz was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. He doesn't perform well against right-handed pitching. You can expect Mark Drotz to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.
Baserunning & Defense Drotz isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Drotz you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is well above average both in strength and accuracy.
2025 Outlook The Guelph Storm were smart, they locked Drotz up to a long term contract.
