Barney Shannon   Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Shannon never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Shannon has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Shannon is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. 2025 Outlook Shannon has below average skills, even for the low minors.
