Kern Crout   Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Crout has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Crout is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Crout always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. Baserunning & Defense His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. Crout is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. 2025 Outlook Crout flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
