Adam Edlin   Shortstop | Free Agents Hitting Edlin never has been a patient hitter. With his slap-hitting approach, Edlin always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Adam Edlin to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. Baserunning & Defense Edlin isn't a fluid shortstop, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough.
