Aron Faville   Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. Faville can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Faville's fastball is a tick above average, in the 90-91 MPH range on most nights. In his first taste of the majors, he has kept lefthanders in check but wasn't as effective against righties. Defense & Hitting For a lefty, his move to first base is average at best, and he has a tendency to forget about runners at second, thereby creating opportunities to swipe third. Faville is nothing special in the field. Faville is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Faville has some pop in his swing.
